Happy New Year!

SthlmConnection are taking a well deserved holiday. We have existed for not even a year but can already look back at a number of great projects. 2010 seems to be yet a promising year and we are a eager to get back to work after the holidays, not least to see all of our lovely customers and collaborators again. We wish all of you a beautiful christmas and a very happy new year!

Copenhagen hosts DrupalCon 2010!

Yesterday the Drupal Association announced that the next DrupalCon Europe will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark! We're very pleased to hear the news that our dear neighbors have finally pulled this off, after months of hard work on their proposal.

Drupal takes over the White House

Drupal has no shortage of high profile use cases. Famous artists, large news organizations, and worldwide organizations all provide proof that Drupal is a mature, secure and powerful content management platform. This weekend came news of what is probably the most prestigious Drupal project yet: www.whitehouse.gov.

SthlmConnection has opened up a temporary office in Cape Town, South Africa.

Here, our lucky representative, Sofia, hopes to make some valuable South African connections and gain some energy before the Swedish winter season. The Cape Town office will be closing down again in the end of November.

Opening party this Tuesday!

Well it's about time. We need to properly celebrate the fact that Konfront, Perrito and Tigra have teamed up and created SthlmConnection! If you're in Stockholm, you're welcome to join us on Tuesday September 15, at Lilla Hotellbaren, Scandic Malmen, beginning at 6 PM. There will be good company, jazz music, and free beers for early birds!

Groundbreaking news in Drupal 7

Drupal 7 is starting to take on its final shape. Drupalcon today offered two events that help you foresee how this upcoming release will turn out: one was Dries Buytaert's keynote speech, the other was Angela Byron's session on all the new features that so far have made it into the development version. Drupal explained: a fish tank

We've been discussing Drupal and other CMSs lately, and how they differ in the way they organize content. Many competing systems use a central tree structure which you shoehorn all the content into. Drupal on the other hand puts all of its content into one big bucket, pool, or… fish tank. But how do you find the content you're looking for? Ask the fish!
